4on4 Spring Hockey Returns to Norfolk County
Minor hockey players across Norfolk County will soon have another opportunity to get on the ice this spring as the popular 4on4 Spring Hockey program returns for 2026.
Hosted for players from Norfolk Minor Hockey, Port Dover Minor Hockey, Waterford Minor Hockey, and Simcoe Minor Hockey, the program will run for 7 weeks from May 16 to June 27 at the Waterford Arena.
The program is open to players born between 2010 and 2019, providing a fun and fast-paced development opportunity during the spring season. Games will be played Saturdays between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM, with younger divisions scheduled in the earlier time slots.
The 4-on-4 format is designed to maximize puck touches, improve skating and decision-making, and give players plenty of ice time in an exciting small-area game environment.
Organizers are also looking for qualified coaches and trainers for each team, with an application link expected to be shared soon.
Registration details will also be released shortly, so families are encouraged to watch their local minor hockey association’s website and social media channels for updates.
The 4on4 program has become a favorite spring hockey option for Norfolk County players and continues to provide a fun, community-focused environment for skill development and competition.
