PDMHA Vaccination Policy

To help ensure a safe hockey environment,PDMHA and local associations (Simcoe, Waterford and Norfolk Minor Hockey) have adopted Vaccination Policies.

PDMHA Vaccination Policy mandates that all PDMHA Hockey team staff, volunteers, instructors and operations staff must be fully vaccinated (two doses plus two weeks) by November 1, 2021 to participate in sanctioned events. Please consult the attached Vaccination Policy document for full details.

We have not moved to require vaccines for players at this time, however we caution that his requirement may be made at any time, and without warning, by the Province of Ontario, Hockey Canada, the Ontario Hockey Federation, the Ontario Minor Hockey Association,PDMHA, or public health authorities. We therefore strongly encourage all eligible players to be vaccinated as soon as possible. A higher vaccination rate amongst our players will greatly assist in reducing risks and protecting the stability of our operations.

We are looking forward to returning to a regular season of play and it is incumbent upon us all to take appropriate precautions to protect ourselves, our teammates and the game we enjoy.
