Gearing up for 2018-19 Season!
Submitted By Marg Ryerse on Sunday, September 2, 2018
Welcome to hockey season 2018-19!  Lots happening!

Welcome all to the 2018-19 hockey season! For some of you this will be your first ever! That is exciting!

1) For Tyke and Initiation Program, your first meet and greet of the year (not on the ice) is Saturday, September 8th at 130pm at the arena upstairs in the meeting room. Thomas Wilson and Shawn McMillan are our coordinators this year and will get your season rolling. Parent volunteers are essential to the program. Please be prepared to help out!

2) Conditioning starts this Wednesday, September 5th for those who have registered for it. All groups will get 5 sessions. The initial ones are posted and the rest will follow. Please subscribe to the pdmha website to stay in the loop and follow us on Facebook!

3) Power Skating begins Monday, September 10th at 6pm and is on the schedule. It will run for 8 Mondays, not including Thanksgiving. An overwhelming response to level 1-2 resulted in 2 sessions of this level. Our littlest skaters will go on the ice at 6pm for level 1-2 and the slightly older ones at 7pm. I will be in touch with people once I get our numbers, levels and ages sorted out to let you know what time for sure you are skating. We are closing off our registration for level 1-2 at this time. Level 3-4 will be on the ice at 8pm. There is still room in this level.

3) Goalie clinics will begin Sunday, September 16th and are free for all Port Dover goalies! The sessions will be at 1030-1230 Sundays September 16th, 23rd, 30th and October 14th with the On-Ice instructors. Interested goalies can contact MaryKay Vary at [email protected]

4) Tryouts begin Wednesday, September 12th and times will be posted on the website after our numbers meeting this Thursday.

4) All divisions are still accepting registrations and our $350 first time player offer for registration is good until the end of September if you know of any friends or family that may be interested in joining the hockey family journey!

Enjoy your season!!
