Pre Novice Group Starts Sept 24th
Submitted By Marg Ryerse on Saturday, September 17, 2016
The first Pre Novice ice time will be next Saturday, Sept 24th.

Bob Thompson is the convenor of Pre novice in Port Dover. We will start with a parent meeting on Saturday, Sept 24th at 11:15am at the arena. Please try to have a parent present as Bob will outline the new program. It has changed from last year so even if you are a returning player please try to be there . It will be held upstairs at the arena. We will have a free skate for all registered at 12:30 after the meeting . If your child is a first time player we ask that a parent come out on the ice. Parents are required to wear a helmet and gloves . Full equipment must be worn by all players. Even if your child can skate we would still like if a parent can come out . The more help on the ice the more the kids will learn . We will need many parent volunteers and coaches to have a successful season. I will be out to help get everything going and then will fade away as the season progresses. The first skate will be a free skate and tyke coaches Shawn Suprun and Mike Grimes will be out to help and meet the kids. On Sunday, Sept 25th at 12:30, we will have our evaluation skate to help make sure kids end up in the right program. We will split into 2 groups after this evaluation tyke and IP. Tyke will be 1 team and IP will be 2 teams that play and practice together.  Could everyone also please label your child 's helmet with their name on the front or you can bring it to the meeting and we will label it for you.  Any questions at all please email me any time and I will help you.  Hope to see you all next weekend Bob Thompson ( 226-567-0737 )
