Pirates’ Skate A Thon Huge Success!
Submitted By Marg Ryerse on Mon 10 19, 15
Port Dover Pirates raised $6800 at the first annual Minor Hockey Skate A Thon!  Many thanks to all and especially to our sponsors, Patrick Jamieson of World’s Finest Shows, Gail Simmons of Coldwell Banker Coastline Realty, Mike’s No Frills, Haywood Automotive, Schofield’s Bistro, Gundry Auto Body, Black and MacDonald, Koolman Ice and Gator BBQ.  These sponsors were instrumental in donating prizes, food and covering the ice time for the three hours the players skated! Top earner for the day was Ella Bradt with over $600 in pledges!
