The Bantam House team finished off their season participating in the Marci Cook Memorial Comfort Inn Tournament in Simcoe this weekend and came home TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS! After losing their first game on Thursday night to Simcoe, they battled back in the next 3 games taking the win of each of those which placed them in the finals. Once again facing Simcoe, the team played hard and worked together to pull a 3-2 Final win. Not only was this tournament about competitive hockey and fun, it was also about raising money and awareness for Breast Cancer in memory of Marci Cook who lost her battle with the disease. As a tribute to Marci, all teams had pink tape on their sticks in support of this cause. Our Bantams made their coaches very proud while representing Port Dover in this tournament. What a way to end the season! This article has been viewed 8959 times.
